Recently fellowed Dr Aileen Traves was a Registrar Liaison Officer for TMT for three years, providing leadership and advice to both TMT management and registrars. As a registrar she worked with disadvantaged children and families in her role in the Paediatric Outreach Program which flies into the most remote areas of Cape York and the Torres Strait region. Even with her years of experience, Julie continues to seek innovative ways of marketing and promoting general practice as a career. In the last year, she has worked closely with GPRA to ensure the success of their GP Compass program, facilitated the introduction of Clinical Education Sessions in hospitals and led CSQTC's highly successful recruitment drive for AGPT 2012 Selection.
